Mac equivalents of Windows keys

I have been using a Logitech G10 which replaced an older Microsoft media keyboard for a while, and although it's a nice keyboard and I'm a big gamer, it's just hard to use for anything but games. I took this opportunity to purchase a wireless keyboard and chose a Microsoft one as they have always been easy to use and reliable. Searching, it seems that I need to make the Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 2000 discoverable so that the my bluetooth can sync to it-looking over the keyboard, I have no idea how to do this? Is it even possible to sync it, or do I need to order a new USB connector.
